Former Barcelona star João Cancelo has this weekend continued to hint that his return to the club can be considered all but imminent.
Defender Cancelo has of course seen his name linked with that of Spanish champions Barca throughout the summer transfer window to date.
After the Portuguese enjoyed a thoroughly productive 2nd loan stint in the colours of the Blaugrana during the 2nd half of last season, Hansi Flick and co. have made his signing – this time round on a permanent basis – something of a priority.
Negotiations over the terms of the transfer, in turn, have been ongoing between the Camp Nou brass and Saudi outfit Al-Hilal for several months now.
And though a definitive agreement is yet to be found, Cancelo himself remains fully confident in his dream Barcelona return ultimately coming to fruition.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Saturday, the former Manchester City standout made as much clear yet again, courtesy of a photo of him in a Blaugrana jersey, accompanied by a timer emoji:
