Speaking in an exclusive interview with Panenka, Atlético Madrid’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak opened up about how he feels playing for the current LaLiga leaders.

The Slovenian has conceded just six goals in 16 games and has become increasingly recognised as one of the best shotstoppers in the world.

“I don’t remember the last time I got nervous in a match. When I have the opportunity to be on the grass, I am happy. I have always felt more happiness than nerves. I have been here seven seasons now. I feel like one of the leaders, but there are more players who feel that way too. We have achieved the transition into a new team together. We have passed from the generation of two years ago to the current one. Almost half the team left and it took us a year to build a strong team again.”
