Two headline members of the first-team setup at Real Madrid were afforded an altogether frosty reception, ahead of the club’s showdown with Valencia on Saturday.
The pair in question? Vinícius Jr, and Carlo Ancelotti.
Real, of course, are currently locked in action, in the club’s latest La Liga outing.
In the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them open, at least temporarily, a nine-point advantage over the chasing pack atop the Spanish top-flight, Los Blancos have made the trip to the Mestalla, for a hotly-anticipated meeting with the aforementioned Valencia.
Ahead of proceedings getting underway, the XI of stars set to take to the pitch for the evening’s visitors, in turn, was announced to the stadium a short time ago.
And, as alluded to above, the home crowd at the Mestalla made use of the opportunity to make their grievances with both winger Vinícius, and tactician Ancelotti, fully known.
Whilst none of Real Madrid’s stars were exactly treated to a warm welcome, upon the names of Vinícius and Ancelotti being read aloud, whistles and jeers rang around Valencia’s ground.
