Gonçalo Guedes prefers move to Barcelona over Atlético Madrid and Benfica

Wolves forward Gonçalo Guedes wants to play for Barcelona and that’s what he has told his agent, Jorge Mendes, when he told him about the other two options on the table, Atlético Madrid and Benfica.

AS report that more clubs are also interested, but Guedes’ preference is Barça, however, the conditions must be met for the deal to go through.

The former PSG and Valencia player has a contract at Molineux until 2027 and Barça are heavily conditioned by their economic situation and by their Financial Fair Play.

Barça’s priority is to carry out an operation similar to the one with winger Adama Traoré last season and obtain a loan deal without a mandatory purchase option.

Barça now have the advantage of the player wanting to join the Catalan outfit, despite the fact that Benfica is the club where he grew up and who are also playing Champions League football.
