Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué spoke to Movistar after his team’s 3-2 win away to Valencia.

“My knee is fine, it’s just a little sore. We played well tonight, dominated at times. They got back into it through a brilliant Soler goal and we had to see it out, but we suffered a bit. We needed to stay alert and did that.

“Tonight was a much-needed win after the defeat to Granada on Thursday, which was a shock for us.

“This league will be hard to win but we’re still alive and will be there until the very end. We’ve won at a difficult place to win at and that will give us confidence.

“We knew there would be no easy games left. It’s going to be hard to win LaLiga. It is in our hands. We have to beat Atlético Madrid, it’s as simple as that.”
