Barcelona star Gavi has on Tuesday provided his response to the latest managerial appointment in the club’s reserve setup.
This comes after Albert Sánchez’s replacement in the dugout at Barca Atlètic was made official.
As per a statement across the Blaugrana’s website and social media platforms on Tuesday evening, amid what has proven a hugely underwhelming campaign to date:
‘Sergi Milà will be the new coach of Barça Atlètic until the end of this season. The current coordinator of 11-a-side football in the Blaugrana youth football structure replaces Albert Sánchez, who will now rejoin the club’s technical structure.’
And quick to make his approval of the appointment known, as alluded to above, has been Gavi.
Taking to his Instagram account ahead of Barcelona’s upcoming Copa del Rey meeting with Atlético Madrid, the midfielder reposted the club’s statement.
This was accompanied by a series of love emojis.
Gavi, for his part, spent time developing under Sergi Milà’s watch at La Masia, evidently excited for the tactician amid a rise up the ranks in Catalunya’s capital.
