Barcelona star Eric García has revealed his take that three fellow members of Hansi Flick’s squad currently stand as the very best in world football.
The trio in question? Pedri, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal.
All three of these players have of course played a starring role for Barcelona across the season to date.
Whilst Pedri has controlled proceedings in the middle of the park with remarkable poise and skill, wide-man Raphinha and Lamine have run riot in the attacking third.
And the significance of such exploits has evidently not been lost on teammate Eric García.
Speaking during an interview this week, defender Eric was asked to name ‘the best player in the world right now’.
And the Spanish international did not hesitate in responding:
“Pedri, Raphinha and Lamine. One of those three.”
All of Pedri, Raphinha and Lamine will of course be expected to play their parts later this evening, when Barcelona return to action in a Copa del Rey semi-final first-leg meeting with Atlético Madrid.
