Future Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick seals Brazilian title for Palmeiras

As reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid-bound Endrick has sealed the Brazilian league title in his final game for Palmeiras. The Brazilian has scored six goals in his last eight games for the club, surpassing Neymar’s record for most goals scored in the Brazilian League by an under 17s player.

He now ranks second behind Ronaldo for most goals scored in the Brazilian League at this age. The forward will arrive at Real Madrid next summer after the clubs agreed on a package of around €72m.

Endrick will arrive at Los Blancos as a title winner after he scored to help Palmeiras earn a 1-1 draw at Cruzeiro, which was enough to secure the club’s second consecutive title. The 17-year-old was the club’s top goalscorer this campaign with 11 goals.

After the agreement between Real Madrid and Palmeiras was reached, Endrick’s reputation has grown with the player also earning his first Brazil cap in November. The wonderkid came on from the bench in World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina. In the process, he became the Selecao’s youngest debutant since Ronaldo Nazario in 1994.

The young prodigy will link up with his new club after 18 months of waiting and the Spanish giants have a player with immense potential.
