Franck Kessié willing to wait for opportunity – even if Barcelona cannot register him

Franck Kessié is ready to wait for his opportunity to play for Barcelona, even if the club is unable to register him before their first La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano this Saturday.

On Wednesday it was reported that Kessié and Andreas Christensen could leave the Blaugrana this summer for free if the club cannot find a way to register them due to La Liga regulations.

It is true that both players have clauses in their contracts that could allow them to walk away from the Catalan outfit and sign for another team this transfer window if Barcelona cannot find a solution to their financial constraints.

However, as communicated by Mundo Deportivo, Kessié is excited about the upcoming season and wants to be a part of Xavi’s project that aims to rebuild Barça. He is not planning to look for another team, even if on paper he will become a free agent if the club cannot register him just yet.
