1) Matheus Cunha: 81 rated, 86 potential: The Brazilian has been a dynamic offensive option in FIFA for a couple of years now, and this year’s cycle has made him more complete than ever before. Cunha begins with 80+ in nearly every attacking stat, making him easy to deploy centrally or out wide. His 6-foot-1 build means that you can even train him into an ideal target man.
2) Ansu Fati: 79 rating, 90 potential: Ansu’s fledgling career has been stop-start so far, but FIFA 23 offers the chance to turn him into the demon that Barcelona envisioned when handing him Lionel Messi’s No. 10 shirt. Blisteringly quick and clinical, coupled with the unique body type, Ansu can be moulded into the complete package in Career Mode.
3) Gonzalo Plata: 77 rating, 86 potential: The Ecuadorian winger plies his trade with Real Valladolid and is one of FIFA 23’s under-the-radar talents. Very fast and agile, Plata bears the traits of any typical young winger. He offers a different road to delve into, outside of the mainstream talents which hog the spotlight.
4) Alberto Moleiro: 74 rating, 87 potential: Without a doubt one of FIFA 23’s brand new headline talents. Nurtured in Las Palmas – similar to Pedri – Moleiro boasts superb technical attributes, to begin with. Only 18, he can be crafted into one of the game’s most devastating attacking midfielders some years into your save.
5) Pablo Torre: 69 rating, 86 potential: Pablo Torre is the latest Spanish talent to be signed by Barcelona after guiding Racing Santander to promotion to Segunda. Torre can be the heartbeat of a Road to Glory save, becoming the midfield heartbeat of a rising team. It is now your job to make him the next Andrés Iniesta, and not the next Riqui Puig.
The likes of Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, Gavi, Martin Zubimendi, Yéremy Pino, Oihan Sancet, Nico Williams and Mohamed-Ali Cho are just some of the incredible La Liga talents who do not feature in the list but are well worth a try on FIFA 23.
