Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has revealed the length of time that Ferran Torres is expected to miss due to a broken metatarsal.

The 21-year-old forward sustained the injury in Spain’s Nations League semi-final victory over Italy.

“He will be out for two and a half/three months,” Guardiola said on Friday.

City have the Manchester derby at Old Trafford and a Champions League clash with Paris St Germain within the next six weeks, while Spain play World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Sweden next month.
