Ferran Torres: “I rejected Real Madrid four times.”

Speaking to El Partidazo de COPE, Manchester City and Spain forward Ferran Torres discussed rejecting Real Madrid.

“When I was young I had several chances to join Real Madrid but we didn’t think it was the right time.

“We didn’t feel it was right for various reasons. I was just breaking into the first team at Valencia and I felt I was going to have more minutes there.

“On the other three occasions, we felt it was better to be closer to home and close to my family.”
