Fenerbahçe are interested in the prospect of signing Eden Hazard from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, report Mundo Deportivo.
The Belgian winger has been struggling for game time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. He was given a rare start against Cacereño last night in the Copa del Rey, but he failed to make an impact in the match.
Los Blancos are keen to offload Hazard as soon as possible and according to sources close to the European champions, Fenerbahçe are keen to acquire the services of the 31-year-old.
While Real Madrid are eager to part ways with Hazard, they will leave the decision in the player’s hands, who is believed to be ready to fight for his place in the team until at least the end of the season.
Hazard’s contract with Los Blancos is valid until June 2024. A sale this January would mean that Real Madrid would most likely receive some form of financial compensation for his departure.
