The agent of Real Madrid-bound Endrick has today provided an insight into why he feels the youngster is a different kind of character to Blancos standout Vinícius Jr, and fellow Brazil star Neymar.
The name of Brazilian sensation Endrick has of course found itself centre stage in the headlines in Spain’s capital for some time now.
This comes ahead of his imminent arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The explosive attacker is primed to link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in July of this year, after at long last turning 18.
The Real hierarchy, back in 2022, agreed to fork out a hefty sum, with the potential to rise to €60 million, to bring him in from Brazilian giants Palmeiras.
Endrick, for his part, is widely considered to be a star in the making, with the success enjoyed by fellow countrymen Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo in Spain boding altogether well for the teen’s prospects, too.
And yet, though it looks a near sure bet that Endrick’s time in Madrid will prove to be a fruitful one, it has today been reiterated that he is in fact an altogether different character to some of his most high-profile teammates in waiting.
Speaking in an interview with The Telegraph on Friday, Frederico Peña, the youngster’s agent, provided an insight into his personality.
And Peña went on to reveal that Endrick is a more ‘reserved’ character than the likes of Vinícius and Neymar, also ‘very, very intelligent’:
“He is not someone you will see laughing or smiling all the time like Vini or Neymar. He’s a different character from those guys, more reserved but very, very intelligent. He is already learning Spanish and English.”
