Eduardo Camavinga signs new long-term deal at Real Madrid

As reported by Marca, Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has signed a new contract that commits him to the club until 2029. In this new deal, Camavinga will see his salary increase and his release clause rise to €1bn.

The Frenchman joins Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo in signing a new long-term deal with defender Éder Militão and Fede Valverde expected to follow suit and extend their deals later this week. Madrid are continuing to shield their young stars from lucrative offers from the Premier League and even Saudi Arabia with financially rewarding deals.

The France international has been a prominent member of the Madrid squad with manager Carlo Ancelotti deploying him on the left-hand side of a midfield three and at left-back.

Camavinga – who has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season – joined the club from Rennes in 2021 for €31m. The 20-year-old has won six trophies in his first two seasons at the club and was shortlisted for the Golden Boy award in 2021 and 2022 and for the Kopa Trophy in 2022 and 2023.
