Eduardo Camavinga set a La Liga season benchmark in Real Madrid’s draw with Rayo

Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga secured for himself an impressive benchmark, during the club’s most recent outing.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real, of course, marked their return to La Liga action on Sunday evening.

Fresh off a pair of crucial wins over Girona and RB Leipzig, Los Blancos made the trip to the Estadio de Vallecas, for a meeting with Rayo Vallecano.

And the aforementioned Camavinga, for his part, was afforded a starting berth in the middle of the park.

When all was said and done, the day’s visitors were forced to make do with what came as a largely underwhelming share of the spoils.

This came after Joselu’s early opener was cancelled out by Raúl de Tomás just shy of the half-hour mark, en route to a 1-1 stalemate.

And yet, despite his side’s disappointing collective showing, midfield starlet Camavinga nevertheless managed to piece together a hugely impressive statistic.

As revealed by WhoScored, the France international made no fewer than 10 tackles across his 70 minutes on the pitch against Rayo.

This is the most racked up by any player in a single fixture across the La Liga season to date.

Camavinga, a player who can do it all, and more…
