Eden Hazard could be set to retire from football

Eden Hazard could be close to hanging up his boots, according to AS. Hazard has received offers from the United States, Saudi Arabia, England, Spain, France and Scotland, but they have not convinced him.

After terminating his contract with Real Madrid, Hazard was destined to be one of the biggest names on the market this summer. Inter Miami were one of the teams that made the strongest bid for the player considered by many as the best ever Belgian player, but he turned down the chance to join David Beckham’s MLS club.

There was speculation of a possible return to his former club Lille, however, sources close to his entourage claim that the Belgian “would not have the energy to go again”, despite numerous attempts to convince him to join a new club after his disappointing spell at Real Madrid came to an end.
