Diego Simeone accuses Lamine Yamal of diving during Barcelona vs Atlético Madrid

Atlético Madrid head coach Diego Simeone was spotted on the sideline accusing Barcelona star Lamine Yamal of diving during the meeting between the sides this evening.

This comes owing to an incident in the Atléti penalty area.

Early in the 2nd-half at Montjuïc, Lamine embarked on a trademark mazy run into the box.

Sandwiched in between two of the visitors’ players, the 17-year-old then went to ground under contact on his right leg, in a legitimate penalty claim.

No such spot-kick was awarded, however.

And one individual who made clear his opinion that Lamine had gone down far too easily was the aforementioned Diego Simeone.

Responding to the incident whilst in his technical area, the Argentine tactician was spotted making a diving motion with his two hands.

Simeone then went as far as to call for a yellow card to be shown to Barcelona’s attacking sensation, for what he evidently deemed to be simulation.
