Comments on the part of France and Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni have piqued widespread attentions across the continent on Sunday.
This comes amid suggestions that the midfielder, accidentally, may have all-but confirmed the imminent arrival of compatriot Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid.
Tchouaméni, for his part, is currently away on international duty with Didier Deschamps’ France squad.
The 24-year-old featured alongside Mbappé from the off on Saturday, as Les Bleus were put to the sword by Germany in a friendly meeting in Lyon.
As alluded to above, though, 24 hours on, it is not Tchouaméni’s endeavours on the pitch which have grabbed the headlines.
Instead, as much comes by way of the former Monaco man’s latest comments away from it.
Speaking in an as yet unreleased interview with Telefoot, in quotes gathered by Mundo Deportivo, Tchouaméni appeared to essentially confirm that Mbappé is indeed primed to join him in La Liga this summer.
As much comes after he pointed towards those in Spain being in line to see his compatriot ‘every day’ in the near future:
“The Spanish already know who Kylian Mbappé is. However, when they start seeing him every day, whether training or in matches, they will realize his greatness as a footballer.”
