Details: Real Madrid’s Nico Páz buyback clauses

An insight into the financial details of the buyback clauses to have been secured by La Liga giants Real Madrid for Nico Páz has on Monday been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, and points towards a steadily increasing clause as being in place for the years ahead.

Midfielder Páz of course secured a move away from Spain’s capital in the summer of 2024.

This came after the Argentine international, amid the intense competition for places in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, made the call to link up with Serie A outfit Como.

And the decision has since proven to be an excellent one.

Páz has shone bright from the heart of the Como engine room, on his way to six goals and four assists in Italy’s top-flight to date.

Such exploits, it is understood, have long piqued the attentions of those back at his former club, keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old with a view to a return to the club down the line.

As much comes with Real Madrid boasting a series of buyback clauses on Páz.

As revealed by the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano, Los Blancos can bring their ex-midfielder back to the club this summer for a fee of €8 million.

This clause will then rise to €9 million in 2026, and €10 million in 2027.

A decision on a possible return for Páz with a view to next season will be made over the months ahead.
