Daniel Wass misses Valencia training as he steps up attempts to force move to Marseille

Daniel Wass missed training with Valencia on Tuesday after reporting muscular discomfort to Valencia’s medical staff, according to Marca.

The player returned to the club on Monday and trained under new boss José Bordalás in the afternoon session at the Paterna sports complex. But before that, he openly told club president Anil Murthy that he wants to leave Valencia. The player took part in the meeting that his agents held with the president and technical secretary Miguel Angel Corona to ask them to accept the offer made by Marseille.

The Valencia executives want to keep the Dane at Mestalla for the upcoming season but it remains to be seen whether he will finally make the move to Ligue 1 or not.
