Pedri’s 2020/21 season continues

Spain’s Olympic Games semi-final win over Japan on Tuesday saw Pedri equal the number of games played by Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes this season.

The Barcelona midfielder has played 72 games in a very demanding campaign for the Canary Islander.

At just 18 years of age, Pedri will not forget his debut season in the Primera División, having played 37 games in LaLiga. In stats revealed in a report by Marca, he also played 6 Copa del Rey games, 2 Supercopa games, 7 Champions League games and 20 games for Spain, divided between the U21s, Olympics and the senior team.

Pedri will finish this season with 73 appearances if he plays in Saturday’s Olympic final against Brazil.
