Dani Ceballos denies transfer rumours linking him away from Real Madrid

Dani Ceballos has denied transfer rumours linking him away from Real Madrid on his social media.

The 26-year-old’s contract is set to expire with Los Blancos and there appears to be no signs of any renewal talks taking place. Nonetheless, earlier this month it was communicated that Ceballos is willing to use the second half of the season to show to the club’s board that he deserves to have his deal extended.

Earlier today the Twitter account La Sevilla Futbolera claimed that the Spaniard rejected the chance to return to Real Betis last month as he has offers on the table from other Premier League clubs that would present him a higher salary.

However, Ceballos responded to the post with the message “don’t divert the attention,” implying that the rumour is false.

Real Madrid are scheduled to have a dense schedule of games in the upcoming weeks, meaning Carlo Ancelotti will most likely rotate his squad, giving valuable playing time for the Spanish midfielder.
