Dani Alves’ Barcelona future still undecided

Barcelona have yet to offer Dani Alves an extension to his contract, according to AS.

The right-back, who turns 39 today, has a deal at Camp Nou until next month but his future remains up in the air.

He has become an important figure in Barcelona’s dressing room since joining as a free agent in January and wants to be part of Brazil’s 2022 World Cup squad.

It remains to be seen if the Blaugrana offer him a new contract. They’re set to tie Sergi Roberto down to a new deal but Alves will have to wait.

This season, he has helped the club move from ninth place to second place in LaLiga. With him in the starting eleven, Barcelona have not lost a single game.
