Cristiano Ronaldo trains at Real Madrid facilities

Cristiano Ronaldo trained at Real Madrid’s training ground today, according to journalist Jorge Picón of Relevo.

Four days after Portugal’s elimination at the hands of Morocco, the forward returned to his former home to train on his own, while he looks for a new club.

Ronaldo’s relationship with Real Madrid is very good. He feels at home at Valdebebas, and when he asked the club if he could train there privately, Los Blancos gave him permission.

When the news of Ronaldo training at the club’s facilities broke, some of the academy players wanted to meet him and be photographed with the former Madrid player.

Madrid president Florentino Pérez also has a good relationship with Ronaldo. In 2019 he said: “Cristiano has never created a problem in Madrid. He has been an example and I will remember him as the best player we have signed. I have always had a perfect relationship with him.”

Ronaldo, 37, is currently a free agent and could be on the move again soon after leaving Manchester United.
