Bayern Munich consider making a move for Bono

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Bono from Sevilla, report AS.

The Bavarian outfit are looking for a replacement for Manuel Neuer, who is set to be sidelined for the rest of the season after being involved in a ski accident.

In addition to getting in contact with Monaco over the possibility of terminating Alexander Nübel’s loan deal early, they have also set their eyes on Sevilla’s Yassine Bounou, known as Bono.

The Bundesliga champions’ CEO and former goalkeeper Oliver Kahn was present at the World Cup when he heard of Neuer’s injury and has seen first-hand Bono’s amazing displays for Morocco.

The 31-year-old is contracted with Sevilla until June 2025, meaning Bayern Munich would not be able to secure the services of Bono on the cheap.

Nonetheless, the sale of Bono could be a great source of income for Los Nervionenses, who are currently facing financial difficulties.
