Confirmed: The effect Kylian Mbappé’s arrival will have on the futures of Real Madrid’s stars

An insight into the effect (or rather lack thereof) of Kylian Mbappé’s imminent arrival at Real Madrid on the futures of the club’s current crop of stars has today been provided.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Real faithful.

As much comes amid confirmation that, so good is the financial situation at the Santiago Bernabéu at present, no major sales will be required to offset the outlay for Mbappé’s signature.

The France international is expected to set his soon-to-be employers back a signing-on fee exceeding €100 million, as well as a contract featuring a whole host of lucrative bonuses and add-ons.

Many of a Blancos persuasion, in turn, were no doubt concerned about the possibility of as much being financed by the exit of a headline member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

But, speaking to the media earlier today, this was ruled out by none other than La Liga president Javier Tebas.

“Real Madrid is a club in an optimal economic situation,” Tebas began, as cited by Spanish outlet Diario AS. “Real Madrid have been very prudent financially and have prepared for the signing of Mbappé.”

“They don’t have to sell anyone to afford Mbappé,” he concluded.
