Confirmed: Real Madrid seal signing of Illya Voloshyn

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Friday sealed a deal for a highly-regarded addition to the club’s burgeoning youth ranks.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has provided an update on developments behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The player set to take his talents to Spain’s capital for the 2nd half of the campaign? Illya Voloshyn.

Voloshyn, for his part, is a 17-year-old shot-stopper, widely considered to be one of Spanish football’s finest in his position.

Recent weeks had pointed towards a whole host of top clubs from across the continent expressing a keen interest in his signature, amid a string of impressive showings on the books of Rayo Majadahonda.

As alluded to above, though, on Friday, the race for Voloshyn has come to a close.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘Real Madrid have completed the signing of Ukranian 17 year old goalkeeper Illya Voloshyn’.

The talented Ukrainian is understood to have put pen to paper on a contract in the Spanish capital through the summer of 2026.
