Atlético Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has said in the past that he would one day love to play in Major League Soccer and Los Angeles FC player Carlos Vela is trying to convince the Frenchman to come sooner rather than later.
“We’ve spoken a lot (Griezmann and I) and I’ve already told him to come to MLS. He watches the league and hopes to one day play in MLS and why not with us,” Vela said during an Instagram live with LAFC.
“He loves America and we are trying to convince him to come, because of the Dodgers, the Lakers, the weather, and to come to Los Angeles because he likes it.”
The pair previously played together at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad.
