Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has pinpointed one specific moment, conjured up by Jude Bellingham, as being decisive in his side’s eventual march to the La Liga title.
Real, of course, were crowned Spanish champions once more on Saturday night.
After doing their part in putting Cádiz to the sword earlier in the day, arch rivals Barcelona’s failure to get the better of Girona meant that Los Blancos can no longer be caught atop the table.
Speaking to the media amid his side’s celebrations yesterday evening, a whole host of interesting topics, in turn, were put to the aforementioned Carlo Ancelotti.
One in particular, though, has since piqued attentions more than any other.
The query in question centered on what Real’s headmaster feels was the ‘most important’ moment of the entire campaign, en route to sealing La Liga glory.
And Ancelotti did not hesitate in pointing towards Jude Bellingham’s injury-time winner at Barcelona all the way back in October as precisely as much.
“Bellingham’s goal against Barça,” he assured.
