Carlo Ancelotti conifrms Super Cup plans for Real Madrid pair Mbappé & Bellingham

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Sunday provided an insight into his plans for two headline members of his squad.

As much comes with a view to Real’s first competitive fixture of the campaign.

Los Blancos are of course currently in the midst of a pre-season tour of the USA, fresh off back-to-back defeats at the hands of AC Milan and Barcelona.

Next up comes a meeting with Premier League giants Chelsea, before Ancelotti’s troops depart for the Spanish capital once mrore.

From here, though, Real will soon be back on the road once more.

On this occasion, the La Liga champions will make their way to Warsaw, Poland, for a UEFA Super Cup clash with Italian outfit Atalanta.

Speaking on the back of his side’s Clásico defeat in the early hours of Sunday, the club’s headmaster, in turn, was drawn on the situations of the members of his squad yet to report back for pre-season duty.

The most prominent, of course, come in the form of European Championship finalist Jude Bellingham, and summer signing Kylian Mbappé.

Those of a Real persuasion eager to see both in action as soon as possible, though, need not fret.

This comes amid confirmation that the intention is for Bellingham and Mbappé to see the pitch against Atalanta in 10 days’ time:

“Mbappé can start in the Super Cup, obviously. Jude Bellingham, too. They are ready,” Ancelotti announced.
