Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about Casemiro, who is on the verge of joining Manchester United.
Ahead of Madrid’s trip to take on Celta Vigo, the Italian boss admitted he had discussed the move with Casemiro.
“I have discussed it with him. He wants to try a new challenge, the club understands that. Casemiro, because of what he has done and the person he is, we have to respect that wish. There are talks ongoing… it’s not official. He’s still our player, but he wants to leave. If he does, we have the resources to replace him,” Ancelotti said in quotes picked up by AS.
