Raphaël Guerreiro has been offered to FC Barcelona, according to Fernando Polo of Mundo Deportivo.
The Borussia Dortmund left-back is 28 and has just over one year left on his contract with the German club. His aim is not to extend his contract, which expires in 2023, but to start a new chapter in his career.
The report adds that Guerreiro believes Barça’s style is perfectly suited to his style of play and he would like to explore the possibility, knowing also that the Camp Nou outfit are looking for a player in that position to compete with Jordi Alba.
Borussia are a selling club who don’t get in the way when a player no longer wants to stay in Dortmund. Erling Haaland and his recent move to Manchester City is an example of this culture. The same would apply to Guerreiro. The transfer fee would be in the region of €8-10 million.
