Borja Iglesias on going to the World Cup: “Hopefully, I think, I have some chance.”

Real Betis striker Borja Iglesias gave an interview on the Spanish TV show ‘El Día Después’, which also appeared on Marca.

The Spanish international discussed his chances of going to the World Cup:

“I felt very comfortable from the first minute, the group is wonderful with players that have tremendous talent and have different traits, and I enjoyed the experience and the day-to-day. Hopefully, I think, I have some chance, I have to enjoy it. I will work to keep my team at the top, to score goals and for the team to win, and from there we will see what happens.”

Iglesias also talked about how he is feeling at Real Betis:

“I feel very comfortable, I have tremendously talented players behind me. We are becoming more and more attacking-minded, we like to enjoy this attacking style of football. I feel lucky because I start to list the players I have behind me and it makes me feel dizzy.”

“That Cup match, in which I scored two goals, I think it also helped a lot in the way that I felt more comfortable. I think we’re enjoying it a lot today,” he added.
