Enes Ünal has scored 14 goals and provided three assists for Getafe in La Liga this season. According to Marca via Portuguese outlet Record, Benfica are considering the forward as an alternative to Gonçalo Ramos, who has suitors in England.
According to the Portuguese newspaper, Benfica are offering around €20m, however, the Turkish player’s clause is €40m and Ángel Torres, president of the club, doesn’t seem to be willing to negotiate for the moment.
Getafe signed the 26-year-old for €9m plus €2m in variables. He joined from La Liga side Villarreal, who kept 30% of any future sale.
Benfica are not the only club following Ünal closely. Other Italian and Premier League teams have already enquired about the marksman.
His contract at Getafe runs until 2025.
