‘Be careful’ – Real Madrid’s message to stars before departing for international duty

An insight into a clear message pushed by the coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid to the club’s stars ahead of their respective departures for international duty has been forthcoming online.

Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, of course, went their separate ways earlier this week.

Travelling all over the globe, the likes of Andriy Lunin, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham, Brahim Díaz and Vinícius Jr. linked up with their respective nations.

As much, for most, comes ahead of a pair of friendly fixtures over the course of the coming days.

And this, it has today been revealed, was the precise message laid out to the club’s players by the Real brass prior to jetting off on Monday.

The games are ‘friendlies’.

With the season’s crucial stretch now just around the corner, Marca have confirmed that Los Blancos are desperate to avoid a repeat of developments during last November’s international break, when both Camavinga and Vinícius picked up injuries.

In turn, written in bold on the whiteboard at Valdebebas was a piece of advice, in what could also be viewed as essentially a warning:

“Be very careful. These are friendly matches…”
