Bayern Munich are becoming increasingly worried about their left-back Alphonso Davies leaving for Real Madrid.
The Canadian player has a contract with Bayern until 2025 but the German club fear that Davies will be attracted by Los Blancos’ offer and will move to the Spanish capital, according to AS.
Madrid are looking for a new left-back as Ferland Mendy could leave the club if an offer from Saudi Arabia is accepted. Carlo Ancelotti does, however, have a new player in the position, after the recent arrival of Fran García from Rayo Vallecano.
There have been previous reports about Davies being a target for the Spanish team, and now there is growing uncertainty regarding his future at the Allianz Arena.
The Bundesliga champions want to do everything they possibly can to renew the contract of the Canada international, however, the player’s agent Nedal Huosah said recently that, “maybe it’s better to wait until 2024 and see how things evolve with the club before moving on to a new contract.”
