Barcelona’s 3 summer winger targets confirmed

The three names on the shortlist of targets to reinforce the left wing at La Liga giants Barcelona this summer have been revealed.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards a trio of high-profile players as having made their way firmly into the sights of the board in Catalunya’s capital.

RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo is one, with the Spanish international known to boast a number of admirers behind the scenes at Barca.

And Napoli standout Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, too, is held in high regard amongst Deco and his team of directors, albeit with the Georgian’s price-tag likely to represent an obstacle in any efforts towards a deal.

This leaves one more, who is believed at present to be the target of choice on the part of Blaugrana headmaster Xavi.

The player in question? Nico Williams.

Wide-man Williams is in the midst of a stellar campaign with Athletic Club, with his directness and eye for goal having long caught the eye of Xavi and his coaching staff.

Still just 21, the Spanish international’s contract in the Basque Country contains a release clause set at €50 million, a figure which Barcelona deem as attainable, in the case of their planned outgoing business coming to fruition.

Sport even go as far as to suggest that Williams’ arrival would not necessarily rule out that of Olmo, too.
