An up-and-coming member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is attracting widespread transfer interest ahead of next season.
The Blaugrana star in question? Áron Yaakobishvili.
Yaakobishvili, for his part, is a highly-regarded young shot-stopper, who has long been tipped for a bright future in the game. Despite his tender years (20), ‘Yaako’ has already been capped at senior level by his home country of Hungary.
This past season, the youngster was afforded his first opportunity to garner first-team minutes at club level, too, impressing en route to 21 league appearances for La Liga 2 outfit Andorra.
And as alluded to above, Yaakobishvili’s performances in Andorra’s capital evidently did not go unnoticed across the Spanish football landscape.
This comes amid confirmation of mounting transfer interest in the talented goalkeeper. As per a report from market insider Matteo Moretto:
‘Áron Yaakobishvili is on the list of Mallorca, Racing (Santander), and Levante.’
Another loan departure from Barcelona is considered as highly likely for Yaakobishvili before the summer is out.
