Barcelona work on finding replacement for Ronald Koeman

Barcelona have started working to bring in a replacement for head coach Ronald Koeman.

Belgium manager Roberto Martínez and former Barcelona captain Xavi Hernández are still the favourites to replace the Dutchman, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.

Koeman has come under serious pressure in recent weeks after some poor results and Wednesday’s 3-0 defeat to Benfica in the Champions League has pushed him even closer to the exit door at Camp Nou.

Sacking Koeman will cost cash-strapped Barça around €12 million.
