Luis Suárez on Ronald Koeman: “I used to go home crying because of the disrespect.”

In an exclusive interview with Sport, Atlético Madrid striker Luis Suárez spoke about his time under current head coach Ronald Koeman at Barcelona.

“He used to send me to train on different pitches as if I was 15 years old. It hurt me, it annoyed me, I used to go home crying because of the disrespect. I didn’t disrespect him at any time. I got on with it and trained as normal in spite of everything because I am a professional. I was looking for the best solution. The president (Bartomeu) kept saying that Suárez was bad for the dressing room, and then Koeman called me. It hurt me.”

The full interview with Sport is out on Friday.
