The powers that be at Barcelona are eager to register another three members of the club’s first-team squad with La Liga for the season’s opening round of fixtures.
The new campaign in Spain’s top-flight is of course set to be kicked into gear this weekend.
Barcelona, under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick, face a tricky task, in the form of a trip to Mestalla to take on Valencia.
Safe to say, then, that Flick and his coaching staff will be hopeful of having as many of the club’s key performers as possible fit and available to feature on Saturday night.
And those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, it would appear, are doing their part to ensure precisely that.
As per a report from Diario Sport, the Blaugrana have begun actively working towards registering another three players with La Liga for the season ahead.
The trio in question? Dani Olmo, Íñigo Martínez, and Pau Víctor:
‘Barça is already talking to La Liga and, in principle, Íñigo Martínez and Pau Víctor should not have any problems, while there are no doubts with Olmo either, although the transfer operations carried out are being reviewed and the salary limit that Barça can use is being quantified,’ it is confirmed.
