A trio of leading English clubs have made their interest known in the signature of Barcelona star Eric García. This comes as the Spaniard’s ongoing excellence is increasingly recognised across the continent.
Stopper Eric has of course long established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet at the Spotify Camp Nou.
A consistently reliable performer on both sides of the ball, the 25-year-old now sits firmly ahead of the more high-profile Jules Koundé in the right-back pecking order in Hansi Flick’s squad.
Across the season to date, Eric has featured from the off in eight of Barcelona’s ten fixtures across all competitions, a pivotal figure in the club’s flawless record.
And as alluded to above, the World Cup winner’s performances along the way are understood to have piqued attentions throughout Europe, in particular in the Premier League.
As per a report from Fichajes, citing transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, long-term admirers Paris Saint-Germain have been joined by all of Aston Villa, Manchester United and Newcastle United in the hunt for Eric’s services.
Barcelona, however, have little intention of entertaining bids for the signature of their defensive stalwart.
