A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has emerged as something of a man in-demand in England with a view to the season ahead.
This comes amid the understanding that no fewer than five Premier League clubs have set their sights on the signature of Blaugrana youngster Marc Casadó.
Midfielder Casadó has of course been heavily linked with a move away from the Spotify Camp Nou throughout the summer to date. Out of the plans of Barcelona boss Hansi Flick, the 22-year-old has been linked with potential moves to a whole host of clubs across Europe and beyond.
To date, Saudi Arabia has been tipped as Casadó’s most likely landing spot. The player himself, however, is eager to stay put in one of Europe’s top-5 leagues.
And with this knowledge in mind, a number of Premier League clubs are now expressing a ken interest in his services. As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing English outlet TEAMtalk:
‘Several Premier League clubs have inquired about Casadó ‘s situation, with one team leading the race to sign the midfielder. Nottingham Forest are the most interested, with Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton and Sunderland also in the running.’
Barcelona are hopeful of securing around €40 million through Casadó’s sale.
