A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is leading Europe’s top leagues in a whole host of statistical categories this season.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is of course in the midst of another scintillating stretch of individual form.
After capping a historic summer with glory at the European Championships with Spain, the 17-year-old has since carried his brilliance over onto the club stage, too.
Across Barcelona’s first four outings of the La Liga season, Lamine has chipped in with a solitary goal, and a head-turning four assists.
And, en route to as much, the explosive winger has excelled in a whole host of statistical categories.
In fact, as revealed by statistician Statman Dave:
‘Lamine Yamal has the most shot-creating actions (28), passes into the penalty area (16) & successful take-ons (15) across Europe’s top five leagues so far this season. He also has the joint most assists (4).’
