A head-turning statistic surrounding the production of Barcelona star Raphinha in front of goal has come to the fore online. This comes owing to the Brazilian’s exploits in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Hansi Flick’s troops are currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.
The aforementioned Raphinha was for his part afforded a starting berth for the evening, as the attacking spearhead in the hosts’ frontline.
And inside the opening 10 minutes, the former Leeds United man was on target for the latest occasion. Laid on just yards from goal courtesy of a perfect pull-back from Fermín López, Raphinha made no mistake in slotting home with his left foot.
And in the process, Barca’s captain overtook his goalscoring tally for the entirety of the 2025/26 La Liga campaign.
As per a report from statisticians Opta, after finding the net 13 times in league play last season, Raphinha has already racked up 14 goals this time round.
