La Liga giants Barcelona have not ruled out bringing in players in two positions during the upcoming winter transfer window.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have this weekend provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that Barcelona are on the lookout for fresh blood at the heart of defence, amid an early-season personnel crisis at the back.
Deco and co. have in turn already begun scouring the market for left-footed centre-back options for January.
As alluded to above, though, the reigning Spanish champions may not be finished there… As per MD, as Hansi Flick continues to make clear his lack of faith in the talents of Alejandro Balde:
‘The arrival of a full-back is not out of the question, provided the circumstances allow. That is, if a market opportunity arises that convinces the sporting director and Flick, and if the club has sufficient resources to pursue it.’
