Barcelona star Raphinha has this week moved to reiterate his complete and utter commitment to the cause in Catalunya’s capital. This comes courtesy of confirmation that, all going to plan, he will close out his career in Blaugrana colours.
Frontman Raphinha is of course fresh off an altogether significant couple of days at club level.
Following a spectacular opening to the campaign as the new attacking spearhead in Hansi Flick’s XI, the Brazilian was rewarded with a new long-term contract.
Raphinha penned terms at the Camp Nou through the summer of 2030, by which point he will be 33 years of age.
If the latest comments on the part of the former Leeds United man are anything to go by, though, then he evidently envisions his time in Barcelona extending beyond 2030.
Speaking during an exchange with the media this weekend, Raphinha admitted:
“If everything goes well, I would love to end my career at Barça.”
