The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation of RB Leipzig star Antonio Nusa. This comes with a view to a potential future offer for the youngster’s signature.
Winger Nusa is for his part fresh off a productive opening to the new campaign. Across four Bundesliga appearances to date, the 21-year-old has directly contributed to four goals.
Long considered one of Europe’s most intriguing attacking prospects, the Norwegian has now begun to add consistent finished product to his game.
And this development has not gone at all unnoticed on the part of the continent’s leading clubs…
As per a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, citing transfer journalist Ekrem Konur:
‘FC Barcelona are one of the candidates to acquire his services. The Catalan club are looking on the transfer market for another winger, and Antonio Nusa fits a different profile than the left wingers they currently have.’
It is also noted, though, that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are the club ‘most determined’ to land the former Club Brugge talent.
