Robert Lewandowski remains a top target for Barcelona

After closing the deal for Raphinha, who will arrive in Barcelona today to sign until 2027, and once Ousmane Dembélé’s contract renewal has been completed, Barcelona will be ready to go all out to secure the services of Robert Lewandowski, according to Mundo Deportivo.

However, there is a major issue: Bayern Munich are still refusing to. The Bundesliga club have so far refused to negotiate with Barça for the striker, however, on Wednesday RMC Sport claim that the Catalan side have made a final offer for the Polish striker for €50 million without variables, figures that would be very close to the demands that the Bavarian club have been making.

Barça have not made any new offer, according to Mundo Deportivo, but Lewandowski remains a target.

Lewandowski has trained with his team-mates on Wednesday, having returned to Bayern yesterday.

Barça’s intention was to resolve the situation before Saturday, as the club would have been able to count on him to travel to the United States on the same day but the German club’s stance has slowed down the operation.
